Internet audio comes in a variety of formats. And whether you have already started with internet audio you might be wondering "how can I use internet audio for profit?"
Here is a short list of some of the ways you can incorporate audio into your existing internet marketing mix.
• Viral E-books and Viral Videos – use audio and video to promote a product, service, or web site and promote it as a free giveaway or a bonus offer
• Web Site Introductions – bring the human element to your web site which adds more credibility
• Multi-media copy – use audio as the stimulant to guide your web site visitors through the copy on YOUR site or in your upsells, downsells, and/or one time offers
• Audio testimonials
• Music
• Audio E-books for sale
• Podcasts
• Webinars
• Recorded teleseminars
• And many others
It's not a question anymore of SHOULD you incorporate audio into your online marketing mix. Today it's HOW.
As for striking a winning chord with your content ... it still comes down to research (just like in any other venture.)
Has that light bulb gone off yet in your brain with what NICHE is all about? In audio it's exactly the same. Let me illustrate.
Let's say you decide you want to be a podcaster.
Your next battle is what to podcast about. THAT comes down to a combination of your expertise and WHERE the demand is. Find a hungry market and feed it! Find a problem, and solve it!
The unfortunate dilemma is that most internet marketers follow this principle backwards, and create their product and then seek its market.

Create Your eBook Resale Right and Increase Your Wealth!
Apart from buying and selling professionally made eBooks, you may want to think about writing an eBook. Not anyone can do this and market it successfully because the truth is, people can take one look at your downloadable merchandise and determine its worth. Then again, I’ve seen some poor eBooks sold on the internet and have found that by constructing a very professional cover (many hire graphic artists), you can sell almost anything. It’s worth the money to hire a freelancer because people buy what looks good before they actually open the book. Wait! There is a flaw in this though…you’re going to get a bad name if you keep writing mundane eBooks. Some authors don’t even show their name, but then you know right away that they are not interested in promoting their brand or image – they want quick profits and will move onto the next project quickly.
There are many eBooks that are actually worth reading in my opinion, but I’m sure you’ve come across one or two that even you can write better. The fact is that the publishing industry needs innovative thinkers that can relate to today’s issues in a diverse way. There are a plethora of categories in the world available to write an eBook on: each with its own eBook resale right. You can sell the book and its resell right as part of the purchase price.
It is easier to sell an eBook on an internet website that has already been established -- preferably one that actually sell eBooks as well. An eBook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business while educating people with the knowledge you already possess as a business owner of a specific product or service. Narrow your topic down to specifics and if possible, use your own life experiences to fuel the paragraphs. Titles should give specific direction and include specific numbers. For example, “Exterminate Your eBook Resale Right Competition In 30 Days For Only 30 Minutes A Day!” is better than, “Beat Your eBook Resale Rights Competitors”.
Remember that people reading the eBooks want simple ideas and they want you to provide new strategies because authors are people who understand the cyberspace eBook marketing world. These people are potential subscribers to your newsletters and eBooks, so ensure to write good content. Affiliates will also help to market your eBooks.
I’ve been giving you the impression that you can write and sell your eBook for profits. That’s true, but there’s also a better way to make money from creating your eBook resale right. What you do is actually give it away, and I’m sure you may have heard that before. Be careful here though – read many eBooks and do lots of research. If you take your time writing a quality eBook with personal experience (novice or experienced) so people can relate to you, as an individual. Solidfiy a few good relationships (affiliates) and include quality banners/links in the free eBook you fashioned. You get paid for any sales as a result of someone clicking your link and these can be quite profitable! These affiliates will help you advertise your eBook and help you drive more traffic to your website so that even passerbyers may buy your other products. Not to mention, affiliates will help you establish trustworthiness and will promote your name and internet business for you! You should, at this time, have your own website and products ready to sell.
There’s one last comment that I forgot to mention about eBook creation. Make your eBook interactive. Write useful, unique content and include fun games to tie the experience from the consumer to you. Create a crossword puzzle based on a particular subject or allow them to fill out a test that shows rated results, such as how smart they are in the eBook industry. Links and forms will top off the list and after you’ve created your new baby, give it away! Give like you owe your life to the Church and then give more! The more you do this, the more traffic and money you’ll make from your eBook resale right business.

Why eZine Advertisements Are Crazy Traffic Magnets For Your eBook Resale Rights
Look at what you are reading. You are reading an eZine article that you clicked probably while browsing the internet or specific eZine website. That’s why eZine advertising is so great, especially for your eBook resale right. Thousands flock to read eZine articles like they did when gossip magazines first came out. It’s one of the most cost effective ways to advertise and drive traffic to your website for a fair price…about $30 per advertisement. Similar to how regular magazines display pages of ads, eZines can do the same to a very targeted crowd.
The best thing about eZines is that they are read by everyone, in particular, many eBook resale rights sellers that have recognized the valuable information the practicality of the articles found in these websites. The articles are relatively short but to the point, and you have plenty of time to look at the surrounding advertisements.
Subscribers, including people like you, trust the eZine sites they visit; that is also one of the most important aspects in sales. Trust breaks the skepticism barrier and instills more confidence in the product/website/author/creator that the link leads to. Customers are more willing to buy something from someone they trust, like a friend referring a good doctor to you. I would usually take their advice and visit at least once…how about you?
Targeted traffic is what we’re after. This is another reason why eZine advertising is crazy for advertising your particular product/service. It’s because advertisements are strategically placed in the right categories and in the right places! If you can offer a way to solve a problem, or give people something they need, you will get that extra boost in traffic that you can’t get for the same price from somewhere else.
Places like PPC (pay per click) programs are fiercely competitive. Because of global competition in the major search engines, (Google, Yahoo) your results are not as targeted as eZine sites, and the result is the dilution of your specialized audience. There are just too many people selling via PPC, however there are some advantages to PPC, such as gaining greater brand awareness, worldwide.
People will start to recognize you either way you advertise. Soon, it will pay off and your eBook resale right will be worth the money you deserve, just by spending a few bucks something that works!
The last, most vital piece of advice is to pick an eZine website that is vast in subscribers and high in the search engines. Undoubtedly, eZineArticles.com and GoArticles.com are great to start because they have a superfluity of subscribers. Your cost will vary from about $5 to $30 per line. On average, you will pay $20 to place ads in high quality eZine sites, but I suggest that you invest a little more once you are ready for lots of people to visit your website. Do this once every 10 to 30 days and you will see great improvement in traffic and eBook sales. As an author or seller, your name is critical. Promoting in eZine websites is truly a remarkable method to increase the riches of your eBook resale right. If you keep advertising, people will continually click on your advertisements more and more!

Book Marketing - 4 Ways to Make Your Books More Profitable
Authors are always asking me how they can make more money. I’m here to tell you that it’s not by writing a new book, it’s by repurposing it. Repurposing is the key to making one idea many – it’s the metamorphisis of one concept into many others that appeal to a wide range of different markets. (Repurposing can even help you with your online book marketing strategy.)
It’s so much easier to find a new market than it is to find or write a new book. Repurposing material is an ingenious way to make money from a book. With each repurposing there’s more profit. And that’s the name of the game.
Here are four ways to repurpose your content and accelerate your profits:
Hard Cover Book
Creating a book out of repurposed content or a creating a compilation book is an inspired way to profit from a book. If you have anything that is collection-based, such as letters, articles, lectures, seminars or product reviews, you can create a compilation book. Compilations are created a lot in the music industry – think of your compilation book as your “greatest hits,” no matter the topic.
Soft Cover Book
A soft cover or paperback book is the repurposing of you hard cover book. Know that a soft cover is nothing more than a repurposed message that is more affordable to a certain segment of the market. And I’ll tell you something – many people who purchase hard covers also purchase soft covers.
Digital eBook
An eBook, or electronic book, is the digital equivalent of your printed book. eBooks are downloaded directly from the Internet as a PDF file and can be read on any computer or specialized eBook reading device. Many people prefer eBooks because they can pay, download the book and be reading it in moments. eBooks satisfy people’s want for things “now.” And for you – there is no cost to print, ship or store a printed book.
Audio
Audio is another powerful way to repurpose a physical or eBook. An audio CD is reading your book. Think of people driving in their cars on long trips. They obviously can’t read a book, but they can listen to an audio book. People during a commute can listen to audio content and make the most of their time in the car. Other digital formats you might look at as well include an AudioGenerato or an MP3 download format. No matter what the format – read your book.
(As a side note to these four ways of repurposing, I think everyone should have at least three virtual book tours to promote their books – one before the hard cover is launched, one when it is launched and one for the launch of the soft cover. You can even have events to launch you eBook and audio book. This is a great Internet marketing strategy all authors should be taking advantage of.)
Remember that your hard cover book, soft cover book, eBook and audio book are just a vehicle. You are the message and that’s what is most inspiring – no matter which way the content is repurposed.

How To Write eBooks - Without Being An Expert
So you've heard about many infopreneurs doing well, generating a steady income and building successful businesses writing e-books. And you wonder if you can begin without knowing the first thing about how to write ebooks.
More to the point, you're doubtful about it being possible - unless you're an expert at the topic of your ebook.
Read this article carefully - because I'm about to share with you a technique to writing e-books... without being an expert!
Step #1 - Pick Your Topic
The first step to writing e-books is to select a topic. Since you're going to learn how about writing e-books without being an expert, there is very little restriction on your field of choice. If you plan to sell it for profit, pick the most lucrative topics or fields. If you want mass-market reach, go for a popular theme.
In any case, make sure the topic or niche you are going into has a suitable audience for e-books. If your target audience is people who are not technologically advanced or cannot use computers or don't have Internet access, it would be hard to justify writing e-books for their needs.
Step #2 - Research Your Niche
No, I don't mean researching for information or knowledge. You are not going to become an 'instant expert' or anything like that. Instead, you are going to locate the best information resources in the subject on the Web.
Look for authority websites that are quoted and referenced often as sources of quality information. Search for authors of various articles who seem to know what they are talking about. Find experts or celebrities on the subject you plan on writing e-books.
Step #3 - Contact Them To Write Your e-Book
Shocked? Don't be. I'm not saying you'll just walk up or call and ask them: "Hey, want to help me writing e-books?" No, you'd just get laughed at!
You now have to make them an irresistible offer. Let's say you found a top expert who writes lovely content - but hasn't yet written or sold an ebook. You can contact this person, by phone, email or in person, and make an offer.
You could say:
"I'm planning on writing e-books about _____ to help people who are seeking the solution to specific problems. While researching on the Web, I found your site and notice you are an expert in this area.
Would you be interested in helping me in writing e-books, so we can sell it to my audience of eager buyers and share in profits? It will make you some extra money, plus you will get added exposure as a specialist to a crowd of prospects in your area of expertise. If this is of interest, please let me know."
Make it sound attractive, appealing and profitable to the expert - in terms of both money and fame.
Not everyone will be eager to help you or write ebooks for you. But some of them will, especially if they see it as extra income or increased exposure in their niche.
A quicker and easier way to do this is offer to interview the expert - in person or over the phone - and then transcribe the interview as an ebook.
Writing e-books does not require knowledge about how to write ebooks, or even expert status in your area. Being an infopreneur goes deeper, and involves seeking and identifying opportunities that you can exploit and explore - with the aid of technical experts, and using your own marketing knowledge and reach.
All you need is the ability to identify experts, convince them to work with you, and deliver on your side of the bargain. The larger your network, the easier you'll be able do this - which is another reason to learn more about being an infopreneur and growing your range of contacts and friends all the time.

Ways To Make Fast Money Online
With the rise of the internet, there are many legitimate ways to make fast money. Some people just want a little extra, others want to fire their boss and work online from home. If you are wanting to build an online money making business, you have probably thought about selling ebooks.
Ebooks are very popular these days. The main attraction is their instant delivery time. Someone searching for an answer to a pressing problem at 2 a.m. can have the answer loading onto their computer screen within seconds. It is as easy as ordering a physical book online, but so much faster. The appeal of instant access pushes people to make the purchasing decision very quickly too, and impulse buying can boost your sales.
If you have never written an ebook you may be surprised to find how much work is involved. Depending on your subject what you plan to charge, you could be writing anything from 20 to 100 pages. Where will you get the ideas for all of that? How do you structure it? Even if you are a fluent writer, you are likely to find this hard work.
You will find this process much easier if you begin with a first draft written by somebody else. This is where private label rights ebooks can provide you with a fast way to make money. If you buy an ebook with private label rights, you can edit it as much or as little as you like. You can put your own name on it and, more importantly, you can put your own affiliate links inside it, so you have many more ways to make money than the selling price of the book itself.
Once your book is written, you need to promote it. A private label rights ebook may come with a sales letter and graphics that you can edit. Again this is a great starting point, and gives you a chance to put your own stamp on the advertising process without spending hours racking your brains over where to begin.
Then begins the marketing process, and this is where even the best writers often need a lot of help. Of course you can pay for advertising, but it is perfectly possible to promote your ebook very successfully without paying a single cent. In fact there are so many great ways to advertise online for free these days, that you may wonder why anybody is still paying for advertising!
The hard truth is that any profitable venture requires some input of either time or money or both. There is no magic money tree. But if you start out with a private label ebook and know how to market it effectively, you can build a product that will start bringing in sales very almost instantly and continue to sell over and over while you go on to develop the next. Keep creating more and more of these and you should have a business that will grow exponentially. This has to be one of the best ways to make fast money online today.
Discover secrets that most people will never know about building a super-profitable online money making business.

5 ways to Get Started With E book Creation
Man’s best friend, the book has also tasted the fruit of the internet and has become e book from a simple book. This shows the technology we have graduated to and thus to keep in pace with the world, your next book should definitely be an e book. If you are willing to express yourself and the content is quite large as compared to a web page, go ahead with an e book. Here are five ways to get started with e book creation.
First and fore most for the e book creation is to have a general idea of the subject and some special specialization that you are having and not an ordinary reader. His will help your e book find targets.
Once the thinking process is over and you have decided the topic and matter of the e book you should sit down and think over the content layout that is the order in which your ideas should flow. If possible try to make a rough draft of the contents page. This will provide you with a brief idea about how your e book will look like.
Third step is to convert all your ideas and knowledge to the text. Sit down on the computer and have a word processor to key in the ideas or can take help of a professional if the matter is enough for you to handle single handedly.
Fourth step involves checking for grammatical and spelling errors along with phrases and proper tenses that are capable of gluing the reader to the book.
The final step is to have someone else give it a proof read. This will ensure the understanding the reader is getting from your book. Once the matter is ready convert it to an e book in any format you like and host it.

eBook Writing - Laying the Foundation for Writing a Best-Selling eBook
It is not unusual for people to cringe when introduced to the idea of writing an ebook. "Oh no! I couldn't do that," they think to themselves, "I wouldn't know the first thing to write about."
My response to that is don't believe everything you think! The truth is, everyone has some area of expertise based on life experience that could be turned into an ebook, some people just need help finding it!
So don't despair! The great thing is that you can start from where you are and for only a small investment of time, begin to lay the foundation for churning out best-selling ebooks virtually overnight.
Here is a three-step exercise you can use to get started.
Step One: Identify Your Passion
Studies show that you substantially improve the odds of succeeding if you do things you are truly passionate about. Ultimately it's not just about money, it's about the pure joy and satisfaction you experience from doing these things. So figure out what you love and you will greatly increase your chances for success!
Step Two: Identify Your Skills
Look for specific training, education, work experience or life experience you have that could help you advance your passion.
Let's say you love jazz and you know how to play the piano. Is your knowledge of music theory and technique sufficient for you to write an instructional book for young pianists on improvisation, ploy rhythms and modal harmony?
Maybe you are an artist who loves painting in acrylic. You also have a knack for explaining things and are blessed with an inordinate amount of patience. You could combine these abilities to start an introductory art class on painting in acrylic.
Step Three: Identify Your Purpose
This is perhaps the most important of the three steps because it forces you to ask the question: Why? You must have a clearly-defined objective or you won't stay motivated and focused.
For the jazz pianist it could be to write a series of books on jazz theory and improvization; for the artist, it could be to one day open a school for artists who want to excel at working in acrylic.
The above three steps must be explored as a group to get the most benefit from the exercise. They are like the three legs of a stool, each needing the others for the stool to work as intended. Use this process to build your own platform. If done right, it could be the launchpad for your next ebook project.

Simple Audio Secrets - Is Audio Quality Important in your Internet Marketing efforts?
Is audio quality important?
Absolutely. And producing a quality product will help YOU to stand out from your competitors, as well as give your customers a product that is CLEAR and easy to understand.
One of the most basic skills in the world of video is the ability to make good, clean sound. You may have some of the best camera work, special effects, titles and graphics in your videos, but if your viewers can't understand what's being said, then all the hard work you put into the visuals will be in vain.
Consumers today spend a lot on their audio playback equipment. Whether it’s in our cars, our computers, our home theatre surround sound systems, or even the newest portable media player we take to the gym - we like our audio to sound good. And because professional recorded music is at such a high level of quality today, our ears are used to hearing great quality audio.
When it comes to video, it is a proven fact that good audio will improve how the consumer enjoys or perceives your product. Studies have compared identical videos; one with good audio and one with bad audio. The viewers were told to judge the quality of the VIDEO and provide their opinion on the difference in the two versions. Although the video quality was exactly the same, the test market said that the one with the better sounding audio actually looked better than the other. So audio really DOES affect how your video LOOKS!

Fast Domain Names - How to Get Started With Domain Names
The location of a web site on the internet is just like the postal address of a place on the face of this earth. If you want to locate a house, you will need to know its address. If you know the address you can find that place. Same is the case with the web sites which exist on the internet. These web sites have their own numeric address. As it is very difficult for people to remember the numeric addresses, the scientists have converted the numeric addresses into the words and alphabets which people can recognize and remember. These names of the web sites are called as domain names. Domain names are very important. If a web site has a domain name which is easily memorized by people, the chances of getting more web visits will be higher. On the other hand if a website’s domain name is not attractive enough, it may fail to attract the attention of the internet surfers. As there is a lot of competition in the online world, every small detail may have the potential of giving you an edge over the competitors. Keeping this in mind you must pay all due attention towards the domain name of your web site.
If you want to get a proper domain name for your web site, you need to use your own creative abilities for this purpose. First of all, you need to find some good domain names. These names need to be attractive enough and still easily memorable. It is important that these names should be related to the nature of business you want to carry out. Select some appealing name and get it registered.

Creating A Domain Name for Easy Profit
Creating a domain name without knowledge can cost you money. Don't believe me? Listen to this. If I cannot find your domain name or even remember it after you told me about it, I cannot do business through your site. There are so many websites on the Internet that you will be lost in cyberspace even before you can get off the ground! Registering a catchy, well researched, and keyword-enhanced domain name is as good as money in the bank.
The ignorant chooses a domain because it sounds good, or they just like it. The wise will have no such compunctions and will in fact research the name exhaustively just to get the right fit. If you are choosing a domain name on the World Wide Web for any reason other than charity, then you will want to make the most profitable choice you can find.
Here are some of the best reasons to think carefully when creating a domain name. Get this right and your profit could be assured, just from the domain name alone.
Get A Domain Name That Will Increase In Value Each Year.
How will you know that your domain name will be more valuable with time? You can start by looking at trends in the industry or niche that you want to operate in. The days of the analog telephone is dead so you may not want to register a domain that includes the words analog telephone if you are in that industry. Instead look at where the industry is going. Internet, cellular, satellite, or mobile phones are in and will be here for a while so if you are operating in the telephone industry, it would be safer to go with words that have a future.
Create A Domain Name That Will Get Some Traffic
Do some quick research to get some ideas using the Google ad words tool located at this address: adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. You will get a graphic of how many searches are made for that term and how many people are trying to market on the web, using that term. You can also type in your term at Google.com to see how many websites are on the Internet with those terms. Enclose the word or phrase in quotes like these ( " ") to get more accurate results. For example "holiday camping gear".
Combine Keywords When Creating a Domain Name to Get the Best Fit
If you think about it, it makes sense. If you are selling bull horns, automotive air horns, or goat horns you may want to include those words into your domain name. Remember that the days of single word domain names are long gone. These days you need to find short and preferably memorable phrases that will help you out. Combining words that tell your story will immediately tell your customers what you are selling.
Find a Good Registrar to register your domain names
There are many of these registrars competing for your business. Prices range from $1.99 to over $30.00 for the rights to use a domain name for a year. ICANN currently has an accredited list of registrars. Go here: icann.org/registrars/accredited-list.html and browse their list. You will also find a good list of TLD’s (top level domains) here as well. Do not get hung up research however. Remember that a .com is still the most popular form of the domain name. If you type the domain name with www but without a TLD, your browser will default to the .com form of the name.
Find Quick Ways To Profit From Creating A Domain Name
Now that you have a domain name and hopefully a website, here are some ways to use the domain name and quickly profit from it:
1. Redirect an affiliate URL to the domain name without setting up a website.
2. Park the Domain Name for profit from type-in, and search engine traffic
3. Develop the domain name and resell it for a profit later
4. Develop a brand around the domain name and sell advertising on it
5. Use the domain name as a gateway to send traffic to other sites you own
All of the above would be viable options for creating a domain name and quickly profiting from the same. Creating a domain name will land you in the middle of a growing online business with no end in sight. Get start today and profit for years to come.

How To Choose A Good Domain Name
What is a domain name?
A domain name is like “google.com”. A name that people use to find your website.
How to choose a good domain name?
If you already have a business name, you might want to register a domain name that is as close to it as possible for branding purposes.
Also consider the following:
A good domain can have the following few attributes, but it does not necessary need to have them all:
* contain keywords
* gives an idea to people to what the site is about
* short and brandable
* no confusing characters or dashes
* .com over other extensions
Contain keywords
Keywords can be in domain as makemoneyonline.com contains the commonly searched phrase: “make money online”.
How do I know that it is a commonly search term? A simple way is to do a search for your targeted keywords on overture keyword selector. This is only an estimated number based on yahoo/overture search engine searches. This does not contain Google searches, which is a much larger number. The more searches the better.
A good domain with good keywords can help bring in organic traffic, which means visitors that enter your site from a search engine.
This can be good if you plan to only promote what your domain means.
However, do remember that a domain name like a business name should not be limiting. A domain name like buyleathershoes.com is not good if you want to sell more varieties of shoes in the future. What if you want to sell track shoes or sandals, for example? When people look at the domain buyleathershoes.com, they wouldn’t think that you would sell any other thing that leather shoes, and this brings me to the next attribute, brandable names.
Brandable names
A brandable name is something like google.com, digg.com or even like my site omicra.com(which teaches internet marketing for businesses), they can give an idea of what the site is about but they don’t need to. It is short, easy to pronounce and easy to spell which makes it easy to remember.
Remember when people don’t know how to pronounce a word or name, they would avoid saying it. This can be very bad for your website because you are stopping people from spreading your website by word of mouth.
The good thing about such domains is that they can really be used for anything. You can sell leather shoes or even hair spray because it does not limit your website. However, when this is good for a multi-purpose or web2.0 site, it is not necessary good for sites such as those that want to promote single products. A person who wants to buy a Linksys router, for example, would rather go to linksysrouters.com than medora.com if they have no prior experience of both websites.
Domains with dashes
A domain like buy-leather-shoes.com has an disadvantage over a domain without dashes because when you want to tell it to people by mouth, you can’t just say “buy leather shoes dot com”, you must say “buy dash leather dash shoes dot com”. This is not good if you plan to do any word of mouth promotion like radio promotion, where the dj has the read it out. It gets hard to remember too.
This is rather ok for smaller sites that you don’t plan on expanding much like if you have a business that sells leather shoes at main domain like brett.com, but you are running a promotional campaign on buy-leather-shoes.com because it is more descriptive of your business than brett.com. Still, however, it is disadvantaged compared to buyleathershoes.com.
A small advantage that dashes have is that it can make things clearer when there is a need for example expertsexchange.com can be “expert sex change” when it actually means “experts exchange”.
Why a .com over a .net?
People remember .com better. If your site is buyleathershoes.net, a number of people won’t remember the extension and go to buyleathershoes.com instead. However, a .org might be more appropriate to some organisations than .com.
Where do I register a domain name?
I would suggest namecheap. Enter the domain name in the text box and click search. Follow the instructions from there.
What if my domain is already taken?
Then you have 2 choices. Buy another domain or buy the domain from the current owner. But remember that the current owner may be a domainer, they buy domains for the sole purpose of reselling so they might charge you a high price. If the domain is currently being used for a popular site, the owner probably won’t sell it.
You should consult experts if you are dealing with very highly priced domains.
JC Lee is a webmaster that runs Omicra.com. Omicra.com is a site that is targeted at small and medium businesses. The site aims to provide the best and most practical answers on how businesses can establish a web presence and use the internet to make more money. He can be hired to set up a website from scratch including buying domain name.
A domain name is like “google.com”. A name that people use to find your website.

10 Benefits Of Having Your Own Domain Name
Want an edge over 95% of the affiliate marketers on the web? Get a domain name. A domain name is like setting up an address for people to stop by and do business with you.
1. Professional appearance.
Really, which website are you more inclined to click:
http://www.mypowermall.com/Biz/Home/555555 or http://www.onlinesavingsforyou.com?
The first one reeks of “cookie cutter” or replicated websites and there are thousands of others out there EXACTLY like it. The second one shows independence and singularity. For this example, hundreds of thousands of people have clicked on a Power Mall website. The chance of click-through to your affilitate generated website is slim and getting slimmer every time another signs up for this opportunity. More people will click on the second because it is something they have not seen before. You move from the crowd promoting the cookie cutter website to standing apart and representing yourself as your own business.
2. Recall of your website.
Look at those website names again. Which one is easier to remember? Which one will look better on a business card? Are they going to get your replicated site if they the search for “Powermall” because that is what they remember or are they more likely to remember onlinesavingsforyou.com?
3. Promote yourself and not just your affiliates.
At some point, you may decide you do not want to continue to represent the affiliate site you are promoting now. Any of the ranking you have achieved in a search engine will be worthless to you.. If you have your own website, you simple change your content, remove the link to the opportunity, add a new link or whatever and maintain your presence.
4. You can build a contact list with your own capture page.
Anyone in internet marketing knows the “list” is the vehicle to success. If you are promoting several different affiliate businesses using only their back office auto-responders, you are missing the opportunity to cross sell to your other opportunities. You need to set up a capture page using your own auto-responder to collect their contact information, before you send them to your affiliate website.
5. Give yourself a true web presence.
You can create your own content with your name creating credibility. Use your website to promote yourself while you promote your affiliates. As you develop multiple streams of income, you can use your domain to promote them with your “branding”. As you build your presence, you will be building your credibility.
6. A “real” email address.
Think about it. Which shows more credibility as an online marketer?
AnnMartin@OnlineSavingsForYou.com or aprilsmom@yahoo.com? It is as simple as that.
7. Able to promote multiple products.
Because you have your own domain with your own website, you can promote multiple products or opportunities from one place. When you use websites like MySpace, Ryze, DirectMatches, etc. to market, you take people to your website and not put in four or five affiliate links.
8. Investment in your online future.
You have made a move toward having an online business by signing up as an affiliate so you have an obvious interest in online business success. You need to think about your future as an online marketer and what will take you to the next level. A domain name of your own is the next logical step. You will learn a tremendous amount of information online and but all will point you toward getting your own domain name to be in business.
9. It is easy to do.
You can get a domain name for less than $10 for a one-year registration. Hosting can cost you less than $20 month. Doesn’t it make sense to put these tools to work for you?
10. Puts you into business psychologically.
If you have made a commitment to a domain name, virtually that puts you into business. You need to use that to pull yourself into business mentally and physically. Get to work! Learn as much as you can but most of all, start promoting your domain!
If you don’t understand the benefits of having your own domain name and how it can make your business explode, you really should rethink your desire to have an online business. Your domain name will be the cornerstone and provides a base for building a solid online business.

Domain Registering Tips
Searching for a domain name? So where do you think you are going to search domain names available for use? You might have definitely come across websites while checking for available domain name that offer services where you can search for domain names under the titles like ‘Check for domain name availability’ or ‘domain name check’ or ‘domain lookup’. Think twice before using such services, because not all of them are perfect and their results are not quite reliable. So always search for the availability of domain names in a well known search engine.
The domain names that you once searched for and had been shown available but now when you finally decide to register a domain name you see that it has already been taken and now this leaves you in a state of panic because you have already designed your website with that name and now you need to change this banner you designed emptying your pockets and now imagine repeating the whole process all over again. The domain names that you search for could be immediately registered and even a delay of couple of days could prove disastrous for your website and could lead to you compromising for your website title which would be the identity for your website for a given period of time.
While registering for domain names care should be taken that the website name should be registered first and then the website name should be embedded in the website. This could save a lot of time and efforts. After registering a domain name you could select one of the web hosting companies of your choice and then host your website. Now at least you can rest assured that your website has a fixed name and you could use that name in your website titles and banners without worrying about it being taken away. This is just a precautionary measure, not that each and every one who doesn’t purchase domain name first is affected by it.
The domain name if taken could be acquired once again when its validity expires. A domain name is registered by a webmaster for a fixed period of time and if he would like to own it again he needs to renew his domain registration once again. The webmaster is notified through email close to the date of expiry of his domain name so that he could renew his domain name well before it gets expired and if he fails to do so, his domain name expires and is made available for other webmasters to acquire
If you are reluctant towards losing the domain name of your choice and would not like to compromise over your website name, you could find out who currently owns the website name you liked your website should have and then find out whether the owner of the domain name would like to sell it you. Of course you will have to shell out a few more dollars as per the domain owner’s demand.

What Is Domain Parking? The Power Of Domain Names
Domain name reselling has for long given the best returns on investments. Today domain name sales account for some big numbers. For example vodka.com sold for an estimated $3 million. In most cases these domains were purchased for $6-8 which is the price for registering a new domain name. Unbelievable, but true. The returns on domain names are amazingly volatile.
But what do domain resellers do till they are able to sell their domain names? This is where domain name parking comes into the picture. A solid method of making revenue even while the domain remains unsold.
Let us now delve further into what is domain name parking...
Domain parking is a method of revenue generation on undeveloped domains from advertising streams/links. Domain parking services are provided primarily by domain registrars. However, emerging trends show that domain parking services are now also being provided increasingly by non- registrar domain parking services. Domain parking services use advertising feeds from web advertising services to display ads on parked domain pages. Domain parking service providers offer domain name owners two options for monetizing. One being a "one click lander" and the other a "two click lander". A landing page is the page where a site visitor first lands on. A one click landing page offers visitors a range of advertising links on a single page. On the other hand the two click landing page first shows up a home page with various category links. A visitor selects a category and is then directed to the specific category of advertising links.
A publisher (domain owner) gets paid for every click on ads deemed valid by the domain parking service. This is termed as EPC (Earnings per Click/ Pay Per Click).Other terms used are CTR or a Click Through Rate. For example, if a site receives 10 page impressions or unique visitors, and 1 click on an ad link, the CTR would be 10%. The base calculation being the ad clicks divided by page views or impressions multiplied by 100.
Domain parking is generally practised by domain owners not intending to develop full scale sites. Most domain parkers fall into the category of domaineers who purchase potential niche domain names for resale. Domain parking proves very useful for these domaineers who profit from ad revenue generated even while their domain names remain unsold. Domain parking also proves useful to website owners planning to develop a site over a long time period. Instead of simply displaying a "site under construction" banner, they can easily monetize their site potential using domain parking services to generate ad revenue till the site actually launches.
Today, domain parking services offer geographically targeted advertising to optimize domain revenue. For example, a site visitor from Germany would view ads specifically for the German/European region. This helps in maximizing the domain potential to the utmost. You might find it hard to believe but advertisers pay decent dollar amounts for ads in niche keywords like debt consolidation, credit cards, mortgage etc. Getting $2-5 per click is a reality and domaineers making $200-300 on a parked domain name is no myth.
If you haven't yet made your first domain investment, now is the best time to start a profitable business investment. You could be surprised with your returns.

Sell Domain Names by Yourself
Have a good domain? Now a days, many people have domain names that are worth thousands of dollars, and gain thousands more every year. But when it comes to actually selling domains, brokerages take up a big part of the market. What does this mean? It means that many brokers will offer to sell domains to you in exchange for commission on the sale. But the best way to stay on top of the market and make the most money in selling domains is to sell domains on your own. It’s a statistical fact, those that sell domain names on their own usually make the most money.
The key to sell domain names for top dollar is your reputation as a domain seller. Get a good reputation, and people will be attracted to your sales. If you have cultivated a past record of providing quality domains without hassle, your sales will spread virally. Webmasters and domain buyers will be talking about how you sell domain names of high quality, and after awhile, everyone will know about you. Remember that buyers recommend buyers, and you can often use the same buyer many times for your sales.
If you have never sold a domain before, then I suggest you go to a place like Sedo and have them do it for you. However, the most experienced users sell domain names on their own. They might post on forums, post on their high traffic blog, or get other high traffic blogs to write about their domain name for sale. Make sure you put all of your facts out there, and try to never have any bad reputation. Even if some random guy tries to ruin your thread, deal with it professionally. Report him to a moderator and get the posts deleted. Sell domain names with class. Nobody wants to deal with someone who types like they are 13 years old and have no idea how to sell domain names. Besides, even if you are 13, present yourself as if you are 25.
Finally, when you sell domain names, offer some sort of protection to buyers, and let them know that you care about a good transaction. Never do anything that will get your name on the wall of shame. Sell domain names on your own and you will find that when you get to keep 100% of the sale, you made the most money possible. If you sell domain names anywhere that wants to take a fee, you will always make less money than you deserve.
